About LEADS

LEADS is a program focused on providing leads for your successful future. We offer innovative classes to build skills, experience, and connections. LEADS classes are open to any undergraduate student interested in classes focused on gaining real-world experience, creative problem solving, and developing career skills.

We offer LEADS for your future success by providing opportunities to:

  • Learn by doing
  • Develop valuable career skills transferable to a wide range of settings
  • Gain real-world experience including course-based internships
  • Cultivate an innovation mindset exemplified by initiative, critical questioning, problem solving, creativity, learning from failure, and resiliency
  • Make connections and expand your network

LEADS is for you.

Whether you are a new freshman, a continuing student, or a transfer student, LEADS has a class for you. Your involvement is flexible and tailored to your interests and needs. If you choose to complete 13 credit hours of LEADS classes, you may earn the LEADS certificate in Innovative Thinking and Problem Solving.
